This National Register property is significant for its history as a 19th-Century factory and as a 20th-Century retail historical adaptation. Most of the historically significant buildings have undergone a mandatory seismic upgrade, and the owners simultaneously rehabilitated the upper floors for hospitality use. Our office is handled consulting with the owners and designers on compliance with planning code requirements tied to the property’s local landmark status. We also consulted with the owner about core-drilling the brick of the historic buildings for the seismic upgrade.
